Who We Are
TravelersDuo was founded by us in Budapest, Hungary. In 2017, our paths intertwined in a way that changed our lives forever—and TravelersDuo was born.
We come from different disciplines within the entertainment industry, blending our unique talents to create a performance style that is both powerful and distinctive.
Szilvia’s Story
Szilvia spent years dancing across Hungary and Europe, performing on Scandinavian cruise lines and appearing on shows like X Factor, Hungary’s Got Talent, and Dancing with the Stars.
Though she thrived as a professional dancer, her passion and ambition constantly pushed her to reach higher—seeking a stage where she could express even more.
Botond’s Story
Botond began gymnastics at just four years old and competed as a trampolinist until 2008.
Transitioning into entertainment, he performed as a trampoline artist worldwide with renowned companies like FaceTeam and Lords of Gravity, wowing audiences on Britain’s Got Talent, NBA halftime shows, and FIBA events.
Later, he freelanced with top-tier companies including Recirquel, WallKings, and Dunking Devils, continuing to expand his range as a performer.
The Beginning of TravelersDuo
By 2016, we began private circus training at the Hungarian Aerial Gymnastics Association, studying aerial disciplines under the guidance of Tunde Vincze. In June 2017, TravelersDuo officially debuted, receiving our very first booking to perform at a spectacular Lebanese wedding. The feedback was overwhelming and soon after, we auditioned for AIDA Cruises in Hamburg. Following a successful casting, we signed our first contract and, with the mentorship of coach Benjamin Pring, took our artistry to new heights.
Creating a Signature Show
When the world paused during the Covid pandemic in 2020, we turned the unexpected break into opportunity: we finally had time to create our biggest dream—a full-length headliner show. With the support of YLZÉ Productions, we brought our vision to life with Cliché, a feature show designed for cruise ship theatres. Shortly after, we were honoured to join the inaugural cast on P&O Iona, one of Europe’s largest ships. Since then, we’ve performed hundreds of shows of Cliché aboard Norwegian Cruise Line, collaborated with the acclaimed Les Farfadais Company, and even brought our art to MS Europa 2, one of the most luxurious ships in the world.
